SHASHAMANI is a storyteller focused on sharing visually textured stories of joy through film and fashion. Championing the untold voices of her community. A recent graduate of the CSM Fashion Knitwear class of 2024 The SHASHAMANI brand aims to continue the pursuit of boundless creativity in the areas of film and fashion with a focus on Caribbean-infused collections and live performances. The aim is to encourage a diverse generation of creatives who do not come from typical backgrounds, to know that a career in Art is a possibility for them. Her latest venture The Work-In God project aims to document the stories of young creatives; learning deeper how they channel faith to create. *(IF NEEDED: include the below)* ( Shashamani has directed One and All: Black Ballerinas and Knot, and continues to focus on film as a mode of storytelling. She has worked in a range of fields from freelance knitwear designer, stylist, filmmaker and costume designer.
